I have been preaching this for a while. Appraisal Management is a disaster. It plays to the basic greed of these companies and insures lousy appraisals. There are more documentary requirements then ever in the appraisal world, yet the appraisers have to turn them around faster and for a lot less money.
Well – that is a recipe for success isn’t it?
The cynic’s view is that we will have to put up with this lousy system for a few years until the inevitable fraud is uncovered and another method is found. In the meantime, watch out!
