FALL HAS ARRIVED! THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! SAFETY TIPS & SCHOOL INFORMATION
A good thing or just plain yuck? I like every kid in America dreaded the first day of school. Parents however love it. Finally some breathing space and a break from being a camp counselor.
While it is an exciting time of the year, it can also be a dangerous one. New schools, new bus routes, unfamiliar teachers and students can be frightening for both students and parents. Until your child is secure, go to school with them. It can be hard when both parents work, but you work for your child, so at least have a trusted family member or friend take them and meet them until they have settled in.
