Peter A Harris brings to you over 25 years of experience in Real Estate Sales, Residential & Commercial Real Estate Valuation, Corporate Real Estate Counseling, and Financial Management experience. Combined with the marketing skill and reputation of Houlihan Lawrence, the largest real estate firm in Westchester founded in Bronxville in 1888, I offer you an unparalleled depth of experience.
Currently a resident of Bronxville Terrace Cooperative in Bronxville, Mr. Harris has been on the Board of Directors of the Corporation for 21 years, and Board President for 12 years. He has participated in all facets of managing a cooperative including underlying mortgage refinancing, construction management, budgeting and day-to-day operations.
Mr. Harris has 26 years experience in the real estate field. Currently he is a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker with Houlihan Lawrence in their Bronxville Office. He has been fortunate to achieve numerous sales awards, including a Five-Time Emerald Award winner, awarded to the top 30 out of 1,000 agents in Houlihan Lawrence each year. He is also a top sales producer in his office, and is regularly the #1 broker in cooperative sales.
Prior experience includes Pricewaterhousecoopers LLP, where Mr. Harris worked in the Real Estate Consulting and Litigation Group. Mr. Harris created damages models, worked on real estate litigation assignments, and counselled corporate clients. Mr. Harris was formerly the Director of Real Estate at Landauer Real Estate Counselors, Inc., an internationally respected Real Estate Consulting firm. He also had a national valuation practice at Joseph J. Blake and Associates, one of the oldest commercial real estate valuation firms in the country.
Mr. Harris graduated from Rye Country Day School, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Ithaca College & Ithaca College London. Mr. Harris has also completed courses in Partnership Interests at Pricewaterhousecoopers’ FAS University. He has also completed the courses required for the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute.
Mr. Harris is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the New York State Association of Realtors, the Westchester County Board of Realtors, and the Real Estate Buyers Council. He holds the ABR - Accredited Buyer Representative designation from REBAC and the SFR - Short Sale Foreclosure Resource designation from NAR.
Mr. Harris is active in his community; in addition to his Presidency of Bronxville Terrace Owners Corp., he is a Yonkers Commissioner of Deeds and is a Yonkers 11th Ward District Leader. He is also active in civic and charitable efforts with the F & AM.
